Independent Nursing Assessments

Service Description

We provide comprehensive Independent Nursing Assessments for children with complex care needs. Completed by an experienced Registered Nurse, these assessments offer an objective, evidence-based evaluation of a participant’s health, functional capacity, and required supports. Independent Nursing Assessments are often used to support NDIS funding applications and reviews, helping clearly identify the level of care required to ensure safe care delivery, quality of life, and optimal outcomes. Each report includes a detailed clinical overview, functional assessment, risk analysis, and clear recommendations for supports, including the need for skilled nursing care where appropriate. Our goal is to take the pressure off families by providing clear, professional documentation that supports informed decision-making and strong advocacy. Consultations will take place in the comfort of your home or via Telehealth and usually take a few hours to complete, after which a very detailed report is written. Prices are aligned with NDIS pricing agreement for a clinical nurse consultants and will only be charged for hours required to complete the final document.
