Insight Nursing Assessments provide Independent Nursing Assessments, Individual Care Plans and Complex Care Folders for paediatric participants with complex care needs.
Independent Nursing Assessments offer evidence-based documentation aligned with NDIS reasonable and necessary criteria for support plan reviews, funding requests and safe care planning, While clear, organised care plans and folders ensure your child’s needs are understood, communicated, and supported at all times.
Insight Nursing Assessments is not a registered NDIS provider, although we can offer our services to participants who are Self Managed or Plan Managed.
Services
After graduating from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Health Science in 2000, I began my career with a New Graduate year at Royal North Shore Hospital, a major teaching hospital on Sydney’s North Shore. Although my passion was always in paediatrics, this early experience provided a strong and invaluable foundation that continues to shape my practice today. In 2002, I followed my passion into paediatric nursing at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where I worked on a specialised ward caring for children with neurological, neurosurgical, craniofacial, and rehabilitation needs.
I later transitioned into perioperative nursing, developing expertise in both anaesthetics and post-anaesthetic care (PACU), supporting some of the most medically complex paediatric patients. These roles strengthened my clinical judgement and critical assessment skills, while deepening my commitment to delivering compassionate, family-centred care.
As a mother of four, I bring not only professional experience but also genuine understanding and empathy to the families I support. I am deeply passionate about helping children with complex care needs receive the highest standard of care.
